We welcomed these four gorgeous kittens today from the Animal Services Center of the Mesilla Valley. They'll be ready for adoption soon! We also welcomed four 6-week old community kittens who went to a foster home.

Bonded cats Moon and Naomi were adopted together today by a sweet gentleman who recently lost both his cats to old age. He wanted to rescue two adults like them. We got these beautiful gals from a local private sanctuary. We are so happy for them both!

Adoption follow-up Monday features APA and Southern New Mexico PAWS alum Butch. We can't express in words how happy we feel to see this boy in a loving home--FINALLY!
He was with us more than 5 years. Then he was finally accepted into the Longmont Humane Society program. It takes dogs years to be accepted there!
Ironically, a woman who met Butch as a volunteer with us went to Colorado to adopt Butch shortly after we transferred him. He now lives in Albuquerque with his mom.
All we care about is that he's happy in a home. That's what we are here for--to ensure each of our rescues has a happy, loving outcome like this. 🐾❤️🐾
