Congrats to sweet Pickle on his adoption today! He was adopted by his rescuer, Rebecca, from Broken Promises SW. She and our adoption center manager worked together to save Pickle from a public display of animal cruelty by her former owner. Rebecca brought the dog to us but fell in love with him through the rescue effort. Lucky boy! ❤️😻

Tomorrow is POW (Pet-Of-The-Week) Wednesday - we will be live at 8:30 on Facebook and Zoom with our friends at Hot 103!

Meet Drifter! Just under a year-old, he's a lab mix we took in from Calista Animal Hospital to help place him. Drifter should have already had his happy ending, as he was adopted as a little puppy. Sadly, he was neglected and abused. 💔

Drifter is a Southern New Mexico PAWS graduate and still has a lot of puppy energy, so his new family will need to keep up with his training. He's very sweet and gets along with other dogs. He loves playing with dogs and kids.

Come meet any of our adoptable dogs, cats, and kittens ready to go home with a family at the APA Adoption and Education Center, 537 N. Solano, in Las Cruces. We are open Tues/Wed/Thurs/Sat 11 to 3 and by appointment at 575-571-4654; apalascruces.org.
