We give special thanks today to the Lineberry Foundation for their generous $5000 grant awarded to us this month for our prison dog program in partnership with the Southern New Mexico Correctional Facility.

We are very grateful to the warden and staff at this facility for working with us for years now rescuing and rehabilitating hundreds of dogs, most saved from the municipal shelter.

Special thanks for the program goes out to our lead trainer, Doug Baker. And to Renee Waskiewicz for starting the program in the first place. And lastly, thanks to our Director of Operations, Nora and her husband, Alex, for their tireless work with our PAWS program and dogs. And welcome to new trainer volunteer Linda Frank, who is also helping us with the program now.

Programs like this take much coordination and cooperation and hard work. Thanks to all and thanks to the foundation for acknowledging this special, successful program that helps dogs and humans.
